Review Policy

WELCOME!

Thank you for visiting The Voracious Bibliophile and showing interest in working with me. If you are an author or publisher or publicist, please go through the following guidelines thoroughly.

ABOUT OUR REVIEWS

My reviews will be completely honest. If I do not enjoy reading a book, I will not falsely promote it. I do not post reviews with spoilers. You can check out my reviews here to see how I rate and describe books.

All my reviews will include the title, author, genre, page count, publication date, publisher name, book blurb, review, rating and author bio.

My reviews will be cross-posted on Goodreads and Amazon.in, and will be promoted on Twitter and Instagram. If I am given a physical copy, I will also dedicate a post on Instagram.

I am also open to blog tours and interviews.

FORMATS

I accept physical copies, e-books and digital copies via Amazon.

GENRES

I do not review short stories. I accept the following genres (in order of preference):

  1. Fantasy
  2. Mystery
  3. Thriller
  4. Psychological thriller
  5. Young Adult
  6. Crime
  7. Horror
  8. Contemporary romance
  9. Historical fiction
  10. Science fiction

No other genres will be considered for review.

If I accept your book for review, I will try to review it in a timely manner. If you send me an ARC (advanced reviewing copy), I will attempt to read and review it at least a week before it’s release. Please inform me beforehand if you would like me to put up the review on a certain date.

Note: Acceptance of a book does not guarantee a review – if I do not enjoy reading a book and am unable to finish it, I will not review it.

I do not accept all requests and I hope you understand if I decline the opportunity to review your book. I am a student in college and do not have the time or ability to review every book that comes my way.
